Anne has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services focusing on risk and governance matters including experience of tax and financial planning and insurances. Besides the financial sector, she has worked in the agricultural, defence & security and chemical industries, in UK, Switzerland and Europe. She began her career as a Financial Consultant with the National Farmers Union Mutual, advising clients on financial planning and tax matters. She then joined Barclays Bank PLC, with whom she enjoyed a long career of almost 20 years in both in the UK and internationally, specialising in financial crime, risk management and regulatory matters. Passionate about ethics, equality and diversity, she established the local Barclays committee to address Corporate, Social and Responsibility activities; and actively supported their military network.  Since 2019, she has worked as an independent consultant leveraging her organisational and risk management skills. Most recently, she was headhunted by Firmenich SA (the world’s largest privately owned flavours and fragrance company) into their legal and compliance division working on product compliance and latterly, intellectual property projects.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, sailing, and is Vice-Chairman of The Royal British Legion Swiss Branch.
