Toby Bradbury is a chartered mining engineer with extensive leadership experience in Africa and Australia.  He was most recently Chief Executive Officer and director of AIM-listed Shanta Gold, a gold mining and exploration company based in Tanzania.  Prior roles have included Senior Vice President for Anglogold Ashanti in Ghana, Chief Operating Officer for Anvil Mining in Democratic Republic of Congo, and previously in Australia, Director of Operations for Glencore’s Hunter Valley surface mines and Business Unit head of the world’s largest contract miner, Henry Walker Eltin, with 28 active surface and underground mines.

Toby acts as an advisor to industry groups on issues pertaining to Sustainability and Risk as a well as on Leadership and Business Strategy.  Toby has a PhD in mining from University of Wales and a Master’s degree in Business Leadership from University of South Africa.
