Based in Chile, Carlos has more than twenty-five years’ experience of working in multi-national and multi-Latin corporations. He worked across a wide range of industries including mining, petrochemicals and logistics where he gained relevant experience in general management, international sales, operations, logistics and strategy. Carlos holds a BA in Industrial Civil Engineering and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a strong focus on Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship and General Management.
Additionally, he is a business development professional who has served on the Board of Directors for EuroAmerica Financial Group since 2004. EuroAmerica started as a life insurance company and today is involved in asset management, securities brokerage, mutual funds, and factoring services.
In 2013, Carlos left the corporate world to start his own businesses and participate in pro-bono work. Carlos has been appointed as the Strategia Partner for the Montt Strategia International (MSI) joint venture, that delivers an integrated ‘one stop shop’ solution to de-risk the construction of desalination plants and pipelines.
