Simon’s career has included technical and leadership roles in mine operations, consulting and academia/R&D. He takes an holistic view of mining projects and operations through the application of strategic and tactical geometallurgy. Simon has expertise in the evaluation and exploitation of various metalliferous mineralisation styles and has developed extensive skills in project studies, operational reviews and due diligence. He has acted as a Competent/Qualified Person in accordance with The JORC Code and NI43-101 on projects globally. Simon has researched and published extensively across economic geology, resource estimation, sampling/Theory of Sampling, narrow vein mining and mineral processing. He is a Visiting Associate Professsor at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, UK and Adjunct Professor at the WA School of Mines, Curtin University, Australia.
