John G. Aronson is an international environmental advisor who provides clients with expert multidisciplinary impact, risk, and management support for large-scale projects worldwide.  His training and experience engage a wide range of applied physical, chemical, biological, and social aspects of projects and their environs. He supports both public and private organizations, within a strong sustainability framework to satisfy local, state, national and international regulations and emerging ESG guidelines (e.g. IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, EBRD Performance Criteria, EU Regulation on Sustainability (ESG) Disclosures, etc.).  His career spans over 4 decades working on some of the world’s most complex projects located in remote, challenging environments from the Arctic to the Amazon, in 50 countries.  He is considered among the world’s leading water consultants (limnologist) and is a Certified Lake Manager, Certified Fisheries Scientist, Certified Senior Ecologist, and Certified Environmental Professional.  John has direct stakeholder engagement and management experience including with indigenous peoples on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.  He is a highly experienced expert witness on international arbitration projects involving environmental/social risks of air and water quality pollution, transboundary issues, biodiversity, ecotoxicology, sustainability, and ecosystem services.  John is multi-lingual, a member in good standing of several professional and scientific organizations, and an author of scientific papers, a popular scientific book chapter and various ESIA/ESMMP/ESMS technical reports.   John is an Associate Director, serves as a global environmental expert at Strategia Worldwide and operates from Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
