Peter has over forty years professional experience in the agribusiness, food security, marketing, SME and rural development sectors in Africa, Asia, Australasia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

His career has culminated in senior roles as Managing Director, Board Member, Team Leader and/or Chief Technical Advisor on major international projects and numerous global investment portfolios, encompassing technical, environmental, institutional, organizational, social, financial, legislative, regulatory, and strategic and policy considerations. During this time he has participated in a broad spectrum of projects and investments with a successful record of meeting key deliverables and KPIs, on time and within budget.

Peter has considerable exposure in the privatization of state entities, private sector mergers, acquisitions, due diligence audits, turnarounds, management audits, crisis management and associated business recovery and continuity planning. He has formulated, developed and implemented sustainable economic growth initiatives and viable agribusinesses, through the provision of an enabling environment and critical investments in infrastructure, technology and human resources.

Peter has excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with key operatives, stakeholders, C-level executives and senior government personnel from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds.

Peter completed his post-graduate studies at Silsoe College, Cranfield University (UK), in 1986, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (FIAgrE), Incorporated Engineer (IEng), Member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (Mem.ASABE) and a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv).
