David brings 30 years of global experience from the British Army and the commercial security risk management sector. Since 2013 he has worked in Pakistan with the oil and gas sector, helping to enable & expand operations in challenging new regions.
In the military, he acquired broad global experience as a Counter-Terrorist / Military Liaison Officer, working as a roving Attaché and trouble-shooter in ‘countries in crisis’ throughout South Asia, Africa and the Middle East alongside the FCO, DFID, Met Police, UN, AU and foreign security forces. And from a post in Whitehall, he ran a complex multi-million pound counter terrorism capacity-building programme.
At ease in complex high-risk environments, he has extensive global insight, understanding and diplomatic acumen. He has two Masters degrees in War Studies, from the University of Balochistan (2009) and Kings College London (2012).
