Chris is a qualified security professional (CSMP®) with 12 years experience in the corporate security sector as managing director of various G4S and Gardaworld companies, mainly in East Africa but also in Australia. Before this Chris was in the Army and was awarded the CBE for the leadership shown in driving proportionate safety management into the Army’s culture and processes at the end of his career. A seasoned Army officer with multiple operational tours, and latterly as a business leader in the security industry in Australia and East Africa, Chris brings a wealth of experience of industrial relations management especially in Kenya, security solutions, safety management, crisis management and response, and driving financial and sales performance. Chris is very well connected in East Africa, with customers and contacts in Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Somalia and especially Kenya where he lives.
